We’re a team of Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence experts with diverse backgrounds and expertise looking to reshape and empower the African AI ecosystem.

Olamide Goriola

As the Founder and Head Machine Learning Engineer, I bring my extensive knowledge of Africa’s AI ecosystem and my experience in leading end-to-end AI research projects with diverse teams of individuals hailing from Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.

Rukayat Amzat

As the COO of Convergence, I am a machine learning engineer with solid analytic skills in working with unstructured datasets and building successful ML products with a strong engineering focus that solves real-world problems.

Lorna Munanie

As an AI/ML researcher, I am very passionate about the limitless possibilities of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and I am committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation in this dynamic field especially in Africa.
